The Queensland Defence Science Alliance (QDSA) is excited to announce the opening of Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the 2025 Collaborative Research Grants (CRG). This program offers up to $250,000 for projects that align with Defence priority areas and are designed to transition emerging technology from university research to prototype stage.
The CRG program is a cornerstone of QDSA’s efforts to foster collaboration between member universities, industry partners, and other Australian Defence Science and Universities Network (ADSUN) universities. We anticipate a diverse range of high-quality project proposals that will contribute to the Defence sector’s innovation and capability.
The theme of the 2025 QDSA CRG is Littoral Operations, with research topics specifying key areas to support the central theme, including: Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance; Command and Control; Cyber Operations; and Logistics.
We encourage all eligible researchers and industry partners to submit their EOIs by 8 August 2025 5pm (AEST). For more details on the application process, to access the CRG guidelines, and to submit your Expression of Interest, click here.
